VITA recommends RelyX™ Unicem for the adhesive cementation of silicate ceramic crowns

RelyX™ Unicem, the self-adhesive universal adhesive composite from 3M ESPE, has now been recommended by VITA Zahnfabrik also for the adhesive cementation of silicate ceramic VITABLOCS crown restorations. After being proven a million times over in clinical practice, RelyX Unicem now offers the user a further alternative to the adhesive systems recommended to date.

Fewer working steps, fewer errors
With this dually curing adhesive composite, the dentist saves a considerable amount of time compared to traditional systems thanks to adhesive cementation in one step, since it is not necessary to prepare the tooth substance. It is simpler to use and less subject to errors, since there is no longer any need for working steps such as etching, priming and bonding of the dentine surfaces.

Recommended for the VITA Rapid Layer technique
Furthermore, RelyX Unicem is recommended by VITA for the VITA Rapid Layer technology. In this technology, a silicate ceramic CAD/CAM veneer structure is attached to an oxide ceramic framework structure by means of adhesive cement. The manufacture of fully anatomical crowns and bridges with the Sirona® CEREC® or inLab® System is an entirely computer-aided procedure. The fully anatomical design data are here automatically categorised into a veneer and a framework structure.

Individual dosage with the "Clicker"
Especially for the adhesive cementation of these two structures in the dental laboratory, the dentist has RelyX Unicem at his disposal with the dosage dispenser Clicker™. Clicker guarantees simple and time-saving handling without equipment. The dosage quantity is freely selectable and can be mixed directly using the spatula.
